Service dogs are dogs task trained to aid their handler’s disability. Per ADA law, service dogs are generally allowed anywhere that allows the public so long as they are task trained and under their handler’s control. In some states, service animals in training have the same legal rights as fully trained service dogs. Make sure to check your local state laws. Registration is NOT legally recognized; therefore, it’s not legally required to obtain and, illegal for any entity to demand it from you. ND offers Service Dog Training certificates to Guests, Members and VIPS after graduation. The Service Dog Training Certifications ND offers are NOT the same as service dog registration. Although having training documents may be helpful, it is not legally required to obtain per ADA law.
